Harvest & Debride

THE AVITUS® BONE & MARROW HARVESTER is advanced suction curettage technology that can harvest small to large volumes of cancellous bone and additional non-diluted bone marrow aspirate, in a few minutes through a minimally invasive incision from easy access sites such as proximal tibia, distal tibia, calcaneus and additional lower and upper extremity harvest sites. The Avitus® Bone Harvester is an easy-to-use device for efficiently harvesting autologous bone and marrow to be delivered to an orthopaedic surgical site.  The Avitus Bone Harvester is a sterile-packed, disposable device and enables percutaneous bone and marrow harvesting.

The Avitus® suction curettage technology is also indicated to harvest cancellous bone and bone marrow; to debride and capture infected, necrotic or diseased cancellous bone (e.g. osteomyelitis, cancellous bone tumors).  In this application the Avitus® enables efficient deep debridement in a close-captured system to minimize spread of diseased tissue in the operative field.

Indications for Use:

  • Harvest cancellous bone and bone marrow;
  • Debride and capture infected, necrotic or diseased cancellous bone (e.g. osteomyelitis, cancellous bone tumors).
